>Stones Throw are set to release a new batch of tasty new reissues, so keep your eyes peeled for these and be quick, because as usual they'll be flying off the shelfs!

>Lil Lavair "Cold Heat" B/W "Cold Heat"

"Everybody get on the floor, we're goin' do a little dancin' y'all!"

This is one of the best, and in many people's opinion THE best Deepfunk track of all time. The original is super rare and massively in demand. Just do yourself a favour and buy this.

HOWEVER! The flip side of the original is backed with "Be So Happy" which is also a hugely in demand side on the Northern scene. Absolutley magnificent soul music. I have to ask why the people at Stones Throw have not included it on the flip instead of a double sided "Cold Heat"? I can only assume stupidity would drive them to exclude it because not only is it a magnificent side, but would also have increased the sales of this record not two fold, probably not 3 fold, but maybe four or five times as many records would have been sold!

Duh!

>Ebony Rhythm Band "Soul Heart Transplant.

"We were super tight 'cause we worked really hard on where we were going....It wasn't till years later that we realised that we had done actually created phenomenal music."

And phenomenal music this is. Dirty, down tempo heavy heavy funk. The original is of course super rare, but in the next few weeks you'll be able to own this on 45. Very nice.

>The Aristocrats "Don't Go" B/W The Mind Liberators "Comin' Through"

When it comes to rare records they don't come much rarer than this! Only one known copy of the original of the Aristocrats in the world, and is often the case that lies in a locked box in Essex! Now you can own a copy of this sister funk monster with a very nice picture sleeve to boot!

The flip side by the Mind Liberators is a juicey bonus too!
